Scientific Officers Recruitment


The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC), Patiala invites Online Application Forms from eligible Candidates for the Posts of:

  1. Scientific Officer (Biology) - EQ: MSc in Zoology or Botany or Microbiology or Bio-Chemistry or its equivalent from a recognized university; and should have passed BSc Examination from recognized university or institution with Zoology and Botany as one of the subject; and an experience of research and analysis for a minimum period of two years in any of the subject mentioned in clause (a) in a Govt department/public sector undertaking or any other organization.
  2. Scientific Officer (Serology) - EQ: MSc in Zoology or Botany or Microbiology or Bio-Chemistry or its equivalent from a recognized university; and should have passed BSc Examination from recognized university or institution with Zoology and Botany as one of the subject; and an experience of research and analysis for a minimum period of two years in any of the subject mentioned in clause (a) in a Govt department/public sector undertaking or any other organization. 
  3. Scientific Assistant (Biology) - EQ: MSc in Zoology or Botany or Microbiology or Bio-Chemistry or its equivalent from a recognized university; and should have passed BSc Examination from recognized university or institution with Zoology and Botany as one of the subject.
  4. Scientific Assistant (Chemistry) - EQ: MSc in Chemistry or Bio-Chemistry or equivalent from a recognized university or institution; and should have passed BSc Examination from recognized university or institution with Chemistry as one of the subject.
  5. Scientific Assistant (Serology) - EQ: MSc in Zoology or Botany or Microbiology or Bio-Chemistry or its equivalent from a recognized university; and should have passed BSc Examination from recognized university or institution with Zoology and Botany as one of the subject.
  6. Scientific Assistant (Toxicology) - EQ: MSc in Chemistry or Bio-Chemistry or equivalent from a recognized university or institution; and should have passed BSc Examination from recognized university or institution with Chemistry as one of the subject. Scientific Assistant (Teaching) - EQ: MSc in Chemistry or Botany or Zoology or Bio-Chemistry or Microbiology or its equivalent.

Note: Should have passed with Punjabi in Matric or its equivalent Standard
